Welcome to the 8th World Congress

We are pleased to introduce you to the full complement of papers and workshops to be offered and discussed during this 8th ALARA World Congress. We present to you more than 130 papers and workshop proposals from presenters coming from over twenty countries and across all the various fields in which Action Learning and (Participatory) Action Research is being practiced. The high standard of what has been proposed augurs well for the quality of the four days we will be spending together. We welcome you to the Congress and we are confident that our work will contribute greatly to the further spread of our approaches to research and learning.
